FAQs

Will the Fiesta WT/WZ keep steering-wheel controls?
Yes — steering-wheel controls are retained so volume, track, and call keys keep working after the stereo upgrade.

Does it work with the Sony 8-speaker audio package?
It's compatible. You can keep the factory Sony system, and still add an external amp or sub later using the unit's low-level outputs.

How does the screen handle bright days?
The display is tuned for contrast and quick wake, keeping prompts readable in daylight and after a heat-soaked park-up.

What about the hazard/lock switch in WT/WZ?
Where the switch is integrated into the OEM panel, replacement modules are supported so hazards and central locking remain functional with the new fascia.

Is wireless linking stable for daily use?
Yes. After the first pair, it reconnects quickly on start and voice input stays responsive for calls, messages, and navigation.

Can I use offline maps and Torque together?
Yes. Download AU map areas for out-of-coverage routes and run Torque with an OBD2 adapter to watch temps or boost on supported trims.
